ClickSoftware Resource Optimization Solutions to be Integrated

With i2 TradeMatrix Service Solution(TM) As Well As

Its eServiceMatrix Online Marketplace

ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:CKSW), a leading provider of software products for optimizing service operations, and i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO ITWO I2 Technologies (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ), a leading provider of marketplace solutions, today announced a plan to integrate ClickSoftware's service scheduling technology into the i2 TradeMatrix Service Solution(TM). The integrated solution will be available through i2 and will be supported by i2's worldwide distribution and support networks.

The alliance will provide i2 customers with the ability to utilize ClickSoftware's industry-leading service scheduling solution, ClickSchedule, which will be integrated with the i2 TradeMatrix Service Solution. In addition, i2 plans to use ClickSoftware's ClickSchedule technology as the scheduling engine for i2's eServiceMatrix, a business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketplace solution for the management of service assets such as spare parts Spare parts, also referred to as Service Parts is a term used to indicate extra parts available and in proximity to the mechanical item, such as a automobile, boat, engine, for which they might be used.

 and service personnel.

ClickSchedule is designed to solve the challenge of simultaneously optimizing for customer responsiveness and resource utilization in a number of significant ways. Customers can reduce the amount of time it takes to order service by taking advantage of ClickSchedule's ability to allow customers to self-schedule service over the Internet. For those customers who prefer to schedule service calls by phone, ClickSchedule offers instant appointment quotes in call center environments.

Further, instead of vague appointment times like "morning" and "afternoon," ClickSchedule provides the capability to offer customers narrow appointment windows. ClickSchedule also improves utilization of the service force by intelligently scheduling the right person at the right time and by minimizing travel time from customer to customer. In short, ClickSchedule is designed to increase the number of customer calls successfully delivered every day, which in turn leads to increased service revenues, cost savings, and higher customer retention.

"Optimizing the deployment of human resources The fancy word for "people." "We are working with several clients who are requesting advanced field service scheduling solutions such as those offered by ClickSoftware. ClickSoftware's proven leadership, deep knowledge of the service industry, and its products' ability to optimize the utilization of service resources in particular makes the company an ideal partner."

"We are excited about a partnership with a market leader like i2. Both companies share in common a mission to create value for their clients with intelligent business solutions that target all organizational levels," said ClickSoftware CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
