This new release offers network administrators full electronic software distribution (ESD), enhanced remote control capabilities for Macintosh and PC clients, a new one-click user interface based on Microsoft Windows Explorer and improved asset inventory and management features.

A key feature in the new ClickNet Professional 5 is the company's expanding knowledge base of more than 38,000 application, patch and operating system recognition files along with a proprietary matching algorithm designed for extremely accurate and fast network inventory audits. Network resource discovery has been enhanced, adding device detection through NetWare IPX and TCP/IP. All resources are automatically mapped and linked with the inventory data repository, and allow network managers to easily extract high-level summary reports or specific detailed reports.
