 Ray, and Steven Barnes, to name a few, were chosen to give their viewpoints on writing and the publishing industry. Some of the questions include: "Do you feel an obligation to create characters that are positive black role models for your readers, particularly those of you who write for younger readers?" and "Do you feel that the publishing world is as welcoming and supportive of African-American authors as it is of other authors?"

The answers are quite interesting. And "Meet the Authors" (located on the African-American Roundtable page) provides a brief bio of the author along with their photo, links to their own website and booksellers.--S.E.
