The North Carolina Haiku Society was founded in 1979, to promote the writing and appreciation of haiku in English. Members support this goal by writing haiku, hosting an annual Haiku Holiday and by maintaining the web site.

This web site reflects my thoughts of haiku, serene, efficient and thought-provoking. It's easy to navigate (1) "Surfing the Web." To move from page to page on the Web.

(2) To move through the menu structure in a software application.
 and is for anyone who appreciates reading haiku or for anyone who's unfamiliar with the art and wants to learn more about it. I say "click on this" and explore an ancient form of poetry.
