Cleveland Society to host 49th Technical Symposium: Waterborne & Innovative Coatings: Sink or Swim 2006.Planning is underway for the 49th Technical Symposium, sponsored by the Cleveland Coatings Society. "Waterborne & Innovative Coatings: Sink or Swim 2006" will be held May 23-24, 2006 at The University of Akron Enrollment in fall 2006 was 23,539 students.[1] The school offers more than 200 undergraduate degrees [2] and 100 graduate degrees [3]. The University's best-known program is its College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering, which is located in a , Department of Polymer Engineering. The host hotel for the event is the Radisson Hotel, Akron City Center. The Sink or Swim event combines a technical symposium with half-day workshops and tabletop displays. In addition, a poster competition will be held this year for the first time. The posters will be on display from 10:00 am-12:00 noon and 12:50-1:30 pm on May 23 and May 24.
