New Clinic Extension To Leverage SeeBeyond To Enable The Seamless Flow

of Information

SeeBeyond (Nasdaq:SBYN), the leading global provider of eBusiness Application Integration (eAI) solutions, today announced its support for the new e-Cleveland Clinic, a contemporary adaptation of the Cleveland Clinic's 80-year role as one of America's most respected referral institutions, providing specialist consultations and second opinions using the Internet for patients with life-threatening and life-altering diagnoses. In conjunction with services from Perot Systems Perot Systems Corporation NYSE: PER is an information technology services provider based in Plano, Texas. Using the Internet as a tool, e-Cleveland Clinic provides patients with online second opinions, health news and health information, regardless of their location -- eliminating the time and expense of travel. e-Cleveland Clinic will be using the comprehensive SeeBeyond(TM) solution to enable the data integration for this service and in addition, SeeBeyond will also be one of the clinic's first customers. As a customer, SeeBeyond employees and their families will be able to utilize the "second opinion" service, and gain access to the e-Cleveland Clinic Web site to seek a second opinion on a life-threatening diagnosis.
