Premier Health System's Eastern Region Selects Eclipsys' Advanced

Clinical Information Systems for Four Hospitals

Eclipsys Corporation(R), The Outcomes Company(R), (Nasdaq:ECLP) today announced that the Cleveland Clinic Health System-Eastern Region has signed on as a strategic alliance partner in conjunction with the purchase of multiple Eclipsys information technology (IT) solutions. Four of the health system's hospitals have selected the SunriseXA(TM) Clinical Manager package and its Knowledge-Based Administration component, as well as the SunriseXA Emergency Department and Oncology packages. Additionally, they have chosen to upgrade to Eclipsys' advanced decision support system.

The four Cleveland Health System hospitals that comprise its Eastern Region -- Euclid Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital, Huron Hospital and South Pointe Hospital -- will serve as a showcase reference center once Clinical Manager and the other SunriseXA solutions are live.
