Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital Center for Autism autism (ô`tĭzəm), developmental disability resulting from a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain. It is characterized by the abnormal development of communication skills, social skills, and reasoning. recently opened its new school. The Clinic currently has 80 children in
the program and will now be able to accommodate 20 more.The school
