Cleveland AMA: How To Market A One-Time -- Impact -- Event.

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission goal is to make Greater Cleveland the nation's foremost destination for amateur sporting events and activities. The organization is responsible for attracting, promoting and managing major amateur athletic events and to create sporting opportunities for youth and amateur athletes.

The role of marketers and their responsibilities can be complex, both from an ongoing basis to special event planning for their company. This program will address important questions relating to one-time, annual or special event planning for marketers. David will touch on areas such as; necessary lead time for promoting One Time (Impact) events, staffing and budgeting for special events, outsourcing vs in house expertise, resources available for first time event marketing managers or planners and much more.
