Clement goes in for injury scan; ALBION NEWS.NEIL Clement Neil Clement (born October 3 1978 in Reading, Berkshire) is an English professional football player whose customary position is in defence. He has been known as a set piece specialist. will have a scan later today to determine the extent of his knee injury. The Baggies defender has been out of action since limping out of the final pre-season friendly against Real Mallorca. Clement will now undergo further tests to establish whether he needs an operation, although it is not the same knee which caused him so many problems during the previous 18 months. James Morrison is also a doubt for Scotland after suffering a knee injury during the game against Bolton. Mowbray added: "Meite has had a scan. He had to join up with his national side but he's back tomorrow, he'll have some treatment and we're hopeful he will be ready for next Saturday. "It's still touch and go. It's a calf strain so we will wait and see how it heals. "James is a doubt (for Scotland) as well. "My initial fear was that he'd suffered damage to his medial ligament medial ligament n. 1.
