Clement Chen Named Vice President for Business Development and Strategy for LMGT; Will Shape Company's 'Go-to Market' Strategy For Infocom Marketplace.

Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT) has named Clement Chen as vice president for business development and strategy.

Chen will lead the development and implementation of LMGT's markets strategy in the emerging Infocom industry.

Chen most recently served as the head of business development and strategic alliances for SAGA Software, Inc. There, he guided SAGA's joint venture activities with leading application server companies, business-to-business (B2B) exchanges, systems integration firms, and IT industry partners in support of e-business integration and B2B solutions.

Prior to that Chen served as program executive and director of strategic planning and development for Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he led the corporation's integration efforts in converging telecommunications and information technology, e-commerce, Internet services, and information security services for commercial and government customers. He also worked as a senior financial analyst for International Business Machines Corporation.

Chen is a 1984 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and earned a master's degree in business administration in 1990 from the College of William and Mary.
