 CLNTF.) Clearnet Communications Inc. ("Clearnet") today announced that in the fall of 1997 it will consolidate its fast-growing national headquarters into a single 220,000-square-foot operation in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough.

Clearnet has entered into a 10-year lease for the space in Scarborough's prestigious Consilium Place office complex. The deal represents an approximate $45 million commitment over the entire lease term. The new space is more than four times the size of Clearnet's existing Pickering head-office space and will allow the wireless-communications company to consolidate employees from four Toronto-area locations into the facility at 200 Consilium Place.
