Clearly Canadian Sponsors The Seattle Marathon For 8th Year Running.

Clearly Canadian Beverage Corporation (Nasdaq:CCBC)(TSE:CLV.) today announced it will be the official water sponsor at the Seattle Marathon on November 26th, 2000.

This is the eighth consecutive year Clearly Canadian has sponsored the Seattle Marathon, one of North America's leading running events.

Clearly Canadian will supply its Cascade Clear(TM) brand bottled water in five gallon containers for all 15 water/aid stations situated throughout the 26 mile course. On race day, race organizers will also use Cascade Clear water to mix energy drinks at the water stations and to make coffee for finishers in the recovery area. At the finish line, runners will be provided with an individual bottle of either Cascade Clear water or Clearly Canadian's O+2 oxygen-enhanced beverage.

The Seattle Marathon 2000 marks the 31st annual event for the City. It is anticipated that this year's event will top 10,000 participants in all categories. The Seattle Marathon Association (SMA) is a nonprofit organization with more than 50 active members. Members of the SMA along with over 30 Race Committee Directors combine their efforts in organizing this annual event benefiting the American Lung Association of Washington.
