Clearant Announces Highlights of Investor Presentation; Company Provides Details on New Direct Sales Strategy.

LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Clearant, Inc. (OTCBB OTCBB

See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB).
:CLRI CLRI Central Leather Research Institute (India) ) today announced highlights of an investor presentation the Company's chief executive officer, Alain Delongchamp, delivered at the Dutton Associates "Recognizing Opportunity" conference in San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  on May 31, 2006. In the presentation, the Company outlined its plans to transition from a pure licensing provider to the tissue and biological industry to a direct distributor of Clearant Sterile Implants to surgeons, clinics and hospitals via a direct sales force.

"Due to a relatively small number of surgeons performing a high percentage of bone implant procedures, we believe that our newly created sales force will be highly effective in rapidly penetrating the market," said Mr. Delongchamp. "While the sales cycle to tissue banks through distributors represented a lengthy process, we feel that our ability to market directly to these influential thought and opinion leaders will dramatically reduce the sales cycle. During the coming months, we expect to build our sales force by hiring proven executives from the healthcare industry and to drive revenue growth from the shorter sales cycle."

Currently, the top fifteen markets in the U.S. represent in excess of $200 million in bone implant sales. The top 30-50 surgeons in these markets perform approximately 80% of the procedures, allowing the Company to be highly effective in its marketing activities.

Interested parties can access an audio replay of the webcast and accompanying slide presentation via the Internet by visiting the "Investors" section on the Company's Web site at www.clearant.com. The presentation will be archived on the Web site and available for 30 days.
