ClearSight Networks Provides Live Network Simulation Through the Release of Packet Generator; New Tool Creates Network Traffic to Determine Maximum Support Loads and Ensure Organizations Maintain Highest Quality of Service.

LAS VEGAS Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  -- ClearSight Networks, the first company to offer network analysis tools for troubleshooting at the application layer, today announced the release of ClearSight Packet Generator. The new software product works independently and in conjunction with the ClearSight Analyzer analyzer /ana·ly·zer/ (an´ah-li?zer)

 the enterprise's quality of service.

As an organization expands, its network continues to grow and diversify, increasing the risk of network failure and service disruption. As additional users and robust applications are added, network performance can suffer dramatic changes. Without effective testing tools, it is difficult for enterprises to determine the impact of the new system demands in advance. ClearSight Packet Generator is designed to address this problem by simulating live network traffic conditions to determine network capacity before deploying a new enterprise solution. As a result, IT administrators are able to recognize network availability or shortcomings A shortcoming is a character flaw.

"The ClearSight Packet Generator allows us to analyze network performance using real-world application traffic captured from an operational network, at a fraction of the cost of other systems that transmit only modeled traffic," says Matt Holbert, chief architect for Network Government Services, a California-based firm that helps customers such as the Department of Defense and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (abbreviated ATF, sometimes BATF or BATFE) is a United States federal agency; more specifically a specialized law enforcement and regulatory organization within the United States Department of Justice.  transform the organizations' networks into streamlined, secure and easily managed systems.

ClearSight Packet Generator's proven features enable accurate simulation of a live network environment. Its flexible functionality allows users to set and change parameters, randomize ran·dom·ize

packets and edit content as simulation continues. The product also has the ability to generate successive packets that have incrementally increasing MAC addresses, IP addresses and application port numbers, simulating network expansion and growth. These features allow precise replication of network performance in accordance with the user's specification. Additionally, an action recorder within the solution enables the user to save and replay sets of packet generation sessions for later use.

"ClearSight recognizes that network management requires not only reactive solutions, but proactive technologies that support the expansion and growth of an organization," said ClearSight Networks CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , A. William Berkman Jr. "The Packet Generator offers flexibility and insight into current network capabilities prior to costly system upgrades and new roll outs. The new product complements our ClearSight Analyzer product line and gives our established customer base of enterprises, carriers and government agencies the ability to save valuable time and money as their organizations grow."
