ClearPlay to Expand in U.S. and Internationally; Thomson Contract Issues with Nissim not a Deterrent.

"Unfortunately, Thomson had an unrelated licensing agreement with Nissim which was a potential concern to them. These legal issues will be sorted out and we will move on."

RCA was the first company to launch DVD players A stand-alone device that plays DVDs. It contains a DVD drive and the electronics to decode the digital video. The device may play only manufactured DVDs, or it may be able to play DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs.
