3M has introduced a sacral sacral /sa·cral/ (sa´kral) pertaining to the sacrum.

 clear acrylic dressing line. The dressing is designed to enable easier sacral site wound monitoring while offering the absorbency necessary for fluid management. Its clear layer allows clinicians to monitor sacral wound progress before and after absorption, and can eliminate unscheduled dressing changes. Tegaderm Absorbent clear acrylic dressing is constructed of a breathable breath·a·ble
