), today announced that William G. Moll, President and CEO, was elected by the United Service Organizations (USO) to serve as Vice Chairman of the USO World Board of Governors. The role of Vice Chairman is a newly created position, adding continuity to the USO World Board.

In his new role, Mr. Moll will work closely with the Current Chairman, John Gottschalk, CEO of Omaha World Herald, and other World Board of Governors to further the organization's mission of extending a touch of home to the military.

"For more than 60 years, the USO has consistently delivered comfort, morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military and their families worldwide, and I am fortunate to have the opportunity in this position to help the USO continue that tradition of support for our men and women in uniform," said Moll. Clear Channel Communications received the United Service Organization's (USO) 2005 Award of Appreciation for providing over $1.5 million in promotional support through the company's radio, television, outdoor and entertainment divisions. This support helped enable the organization to distribute thousands of care packages and pre-paid phone cards to troops serving overseas.

For the past three years, Mr. Moll has been an active member of the USO World Board, most recently serving as the Chairman of the Communications, Marketing and Entertainment Committee.
