Clear Channel Outdoor Wins Milwaukee Street Furniture and Transit Advertising Contracts in Milwaukee.

PHOENIX -- Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE:CCO) was awarded two franchises by the Milwaukee County Transport System (MCTS): transit advertising and bus shelter advertising. MCTS has consistently ranked as one of America's most efficient and cost-effective transit providers, while the City of Milwaukee and its thriving downtown continue to provide one of the Midwest's most upscale forums for outdoor advertising. The agreements will be for seven years each and provide a network of no fewer than 125 bus shelters with 250 advertising displays, as well as advertising on 425 buses that provide service throughout a compact 242-square-mile area of Milwaukee and its suburbs. The awards have been made following a competitive RFP process that will allow Clear Channel Outdoor to further strengthen its position in the growing transit advertising segment. Under the exclusive contracts, Clear Channel Outdoor will design, install and maintain bus shelters and market and sell interior and exterior advertising space on bus shelters and buses, each of which include strategic coverage within key areas of each market. Transit advertising has become more valuable in recent years and continues to grow as public transit ridership increases and transit agencies invite creativity and innovation to market advertising space.
