Property Valuation Firm Hires Respected Industry Veterans Dave Shepard and Scott Richardson to Lead New Appraisal Division

TRUCKEE, Calif. -- Clear Capital, a leading property valuation outsourcing firm, today announced the hiring of Dave Shepard as Vice President, and Scott Richardson as Director of Product Development, to lead the Company's new Appraisal Division. This new division offers the appraisal management industry ultra-efficient technologies and a positive, respectful customer service experience.

Shepard is responsible for building and maintaining an Appraisal Division that will deliver the highest quality reconciliations, appraisal origination, appraisal reviews and hybrid/new appraisal products. He will also work to create educational and growth opportunities for appraisers as the company introduces them to additional facets of the mortgage industry.

Richardson will work closely with Shepard and manage the implementation and organization of the Appraisal Division. Richardson is also responsible for making sure that the Clear Capital style and high standards are applied to every facet of the appraisal order and fulfillment process.

Shepard and Richardson will immediately begin the search for an outgoing and fun appraiser staff that looks forward to the challenge of building this new division, as well as a network of experienced appraisers across the country to deliver high-quality appraisal-based products to Clear Capital customers.

Prior to joining Clear Capital, Shepard built and led appraisal departments for the National Lending Center, Centex Home Equity, Goldman Sachs and New Century. He is a third generation real estate professional with 35 years of experience as an appraiser. He is also a state certified residential appraiser in both Florida and Texas, serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Council to the Appraisal Foundation, and has taught appraisal courses for more than 30 years.

Before joining Clear Capital, Richardson worked for Collateral Risk Solutions (CRS) managing the review and reconciliation of appraisal and other valuation products. Prior to CRS, he was the due diligence manager for Countrywide Securities. He is a long time fan and evangelist of Clear Capital's approach to customer service.
