Cleaning company owner charged.

SPENCER - The owner of a local janitorial company is accused of taking thousands of dollars worth of supplies from FLEXcon Co. and will be arraigned March 21 in Western Worcester District Court in East Brookfield East Brookfield is the name of the following places in the United States:

Police said Cynthia L. Manos, 41, of 33 Kittredge Road, who owns Venture Cleaning, stole $8,200 in cleaning supplies and stockpiled them at her home to use when cleaning for other clients. Earlier this month, after a former FLEXcon employee notified the company of the ongoing thefts, police got a search warrant. "FLEXcon would purchase the supplies with the understanding that she was to use them to clean there," Sgt. Befford said. "Some of the boxes still had shipping labels on them that indicated they were sent to FLEXcon."

FLEXcon has since terminated its contract with Venture Cleaning, said Joseph L. DiVeglia of FLEXcon's Marketing and Communications Department.

Police said Ms. Manos will be arraigned on charges of larceny larceny, in law, the unlawful taking and carrying away of the property of another, with intent to deprive the owner of its use or to appropriate it to the use of the perpetrator or of someone else.  of property valued at more than $250 and receiving stolen property.
