The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lee Clayton of Tupelo. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Geraldine Bonds Coffey of Etta, the late Mr. James Harrison Coffey, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Troyce Clayton of New Albany. The groom is the son of Rev, and Mrs. John Steven Hurt of Tupelo. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Hurt of Mentone, Alabama, Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Willis of Clinton, and the late Mr. Harold Edgar Powell of Jackson. Rev. Eddie Wren officiated at the double-ring ceremony. A program of nuptial nup·tial adj. 1. A heavily beaded sleeveless bodice fell into a full tulle Tulle (t l, Fr. tül), town (1990 pop. 18,685), capital of Corrèze dept., S central France. Firearms and other goods are made there. Tulle was built around a 7th-century monastery. skirt accented with appliques and a chapel-length
train with a satin hem. The bride's fingertip and cathedral-length
veils featured a satin hem. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white
Virginia roses.
Sarah Purvis served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Adams, Katie McLeod, Catherine McMahan, Elizabeth O'Brien, Kelli Tretter, and Stacy Wren. Ushers were Jim Murphree, Jake Pettit, and Bree Powell. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception in the fellowship hall of the church, where guests were entertained with music by pianist Jim Long Livingston.
