Clayton Consultants Names Jack Cloonan President; FBI Veteran Named to Chief Post at Leading Corporate Security Consulting Firm.

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- Thomas A. Clayton Consultants, Inc. (Clayton Consultants) a worldwide corporate and private security, training and crisis management company based here announced today that John E. (Jack) Cloonan has been named the organization's new president. He succeeds former President and company founder Tom Clayton, who will become Chairman of the organization.

Cloonan, a 25 year veteran of the FBI and internationally respected security expert, will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Company as it develops and manages the capacity to serve the rapidly growing security, response and crisis management needs of corporations and families worldwide.

Since retiring from the FBI, where he received commendations and awards for counter-terrorism and investigations, Cloonan has served as a counter-terrorism consultant and commentator for ABC News. He has also held positions as Security Specialist for the Exxon Corporation and, most recently, as a Managing Director for L.F. Stephens, Inc., where he led investigations for individuals and corporate clients in areas of due diligence, risk assessment, internal theft, global risk and employee integrity.

Clayton Consultants' services include managing kidnap for ransom incidents, pre-incident training to reduce the risks of kidnap, extortion, malicious product tampering, and wrongful detention. The privately owned company also conducts physical security surveys, security training and simulations, risk assessments, crisis management plan development and private and corporate investigations.
