The sellers were Thomas and Jo Ann Whitaker, $33,000 in March 1998; Francis and Audrey Rickman, $100,000 in October 1991; the heirs of William Herndon Sr., $40,000 in May 1991; Paul Matthews, $57,700 in February 1991; James and Mildred Crow, $80,000 in May 1979; American Cyanamid Co., $40,000 in December 1978; Earl Johnson Jr. and his wife, Sarah, $109,000 in March 1978; J.M. and Eula Stelling, $33,150 in December 1972; and Robert and Frances James, $20,000 in August 1956.
