America Dreams was developed by Fellows of the American Memory American Memory is an Internet-based archive for public domain image resources, as well as audio, video, and archived Web content. It is published by the Library of Congress. The archive came into existence on October 13, 1994 after $13,000,000 was raised in donations. Program, Library of Congress. It helps students learn to use the internet to become effective researchers using the National Digital Library and other on-line resources. Students will share what they've learned with other classes -- and the world -- on the internet. Each class will analyze the historic dreams of Americans, create a contemporary portrait of the dreams of their own communities, and consider their personal role in creating the individual and collective dreams that will shape America's future.
