Classical preview: Stockhausen Day, LondonThis year should have seen celebrations
Celebrations are a chocolate collection made by Mars, Incorporated comprising miniature versions of favorite Mars-produced bars. for the 80th birthday of one of the greatest composers of our time. But Karheinz Stockhausen died suddenly last December, and so many of the events planned as celebrations of his extraordinary career have been transformed into memorials. One of those is the Proms tribute - a multi-layered, five-hour extravaganza ex·trav·a·gan·za n. 1.
