Classical music Archives online. (Items of Interest).


The Classical Archives Classical Archives is a large classical music commercial website on the Internet.

It has, as at December 10, 2006, 40,055 full-length classical music files by 2,093 composers.

People must register to listen to the music on the site.
, found at www.classicalarchives.com, contains the largest collection of classic music files online--more than 14,000 compositions by more than 1,000 composers.

In addition to the music stored in MIDI, Windows Media Microsoft's audio and video framework for Windows, which embraces playback, encoding and streaming. Windows Media Player is the digital jukebox and media player that comes with every version of Windows.  and MP3 formats, visitors can access composer biographies, historical timelines, live recordings, music videos of young performers, essays, editorials and more.
