 to their production of the box-office classic Oliver!

The show will be staged at the Crescent Theatre The Crescent Theatre is a small, professional theatre run mostly by volunteers, based in Sheepcote Street, Brindleyplace in Birmingham, England.

It houses one of the oldest theatre companies in the city: The Crescent Theatre Company.

Halesowen schoolboy Henry Liggins will play Oliver, who escapes to London and is led into a life of crime by Fagin and his gang of pickpockets.

The nine-year-old Lapal Primary School pupil is one of 30 youngsters performing in the play while 20 other adults make up the full cast.

During the production there will be renditions of old favourites including 'Food, Glorious Food' and 'Consider Yourself'.

The event runs from October 20-24, and tickets can be purchased from the box office on 0121 643 5858.
