Classic Carriages to Debut Collector Car Auction and Show March 14-18.


PEORIA, Ariz. -- Classic Carriages is revving up for the debut of its Collector Car Auction and Show March 14-18, 2007, at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Hundreds of collector cars, motorcycles and memorabilia will cross the auction block at the event.

    Stadium Offers World-Class Venue

    Since its opening in the summer of 2006, the University of Phoenix has hosted several high-profile events, but none over the span of five days and as expansive as the Collector Car Auction and Show.

    Classic Carriages will be utilizing all 260,000 square feet of the air conditioned, weatherproofed display space inside the stadium. There is permanent seating for bidders and spectators who can watch the action on the floor or on the 90 feet long video display jumbotron and plasma screens on the concourses.

    Event Features Affordable Tickets, Free Parking

    The Collector Car Auction runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 15-17 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 18. Ticket prices for the Collector Car Auction and Show range from $10-35 per person depending on the day. Children under 12 are free. Tickets for the Preview Night cost $17 per adult and $12 for seniors, juniors and military. Free parking and valet parking is also available to the bidders and to the public.
