NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 1999, New York--

A securities class action lawsuit was commenced on behalf of purchasers of the common stock of New Era of Networks, Inc.(Nasdaq:NEON) ("New Era" or the "Company"), between April 21, 1999 and July 6, 1999, inclusive, (the "Class Period"), in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
