Clarus Medical Systems, Inc. Strengthens Patent Portfolio.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--Clarus Medical Systems, Inc. has been issued patent number 5,857,961 effective January 12, 1999 for a Surgical Instrument for Use with a Viewing System. This patent, along with number 5,735,792 issued in April 1998, further enhance Clarus' patent portfolio for fiber optic technology used in minimally invasive surgery minimally invasive surgery Laparoscopic surgery, see there.
