Clarke American Assists Ralphs FCU with Successful Marketing Campaign.

 and an introductory letter that can be sent to members. The colors on the graphics provided can be changed to suit the credit union's needs, and each kit comes ready to use; all the financial institution needs to do is add its logo. All materials come on a PC-formatted and a MAC-formatted disk.

A Ralph's spokesperson said, "For a credit union such as ours without a huge marketing budget, the ServiceLine Plus marketing kit was a very valuable tool. Ralphs FCU chose to start its marketing program with a preliminary direct mail campaign to checking account holders. This campaign included a cover letter and wallet-sized reminder card with the toll-free number for ServiceLine Plus printed on the front of the card and cross-selling opportunities for different checking accounts on the back.

More than 6,000 pieces were mailed during the second month of the Ralphs FCU/Clarke American partnership. Ralphs also placed extra cards in the lobby, as well as distributed cards to information centers in stores where Ralphs credit union members are employed.

 the financial institution, the result of the campaign was a ten percent increase in the number of check reorders placed through ServiceLine Plus.

"This was a great success considering that most members are expected to make only one check reorder per year, and the implementation of the entire program required little time and effort. Clarke American created a well-thought out program that provided us with almost all aspects of the campaign," said a Ralphs spokesperson.

In the near future, Ralphs FCU intends to expand its use of the Clarke American ServiceLine Plus marketing kit to include another promotion of the service and possibly posters for the credit union's lobby.
