Kathryn Kamp Clark of Itta Bena and Jonathan William Smith of Cordova, Tennessee, were united in marriage on June 1, 2002, at First United Methodist Church First United Methodist Church is a common name for the first United Methodist church established in a particular locality. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee Clark of Itta Bena, and the groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. John W. Smith of Cordova, Tennessee.

Rev. Wilson Ray of Itta Bena and Rev. Roger Orman of Columbia, South Carolina Columbia is the state capital and largest city of South Carolina. As of 2006, estimates for the population of the city proper is 122,819[1]. Columbia is the county seat of Richland County, but a small portion of the city extends into Lexington County. , officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Wedding directors were Mrs. Paul Parrish of Flowood, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Tommy Murphey of Itta Bena, cousin of the bride. Nuptial nup·tial

The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeffery Russell Voris; David Michael Smith, brother of the groom; Benjamin Norman Parrish, cousin of the bride; Kelly Benson Gupton; and Michel David Thompson.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's maternal grandmother, Mrs. Robert Y. Murphey, in Itta Bena. Pianist Paul Brown provided music.

Following a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the couple resides in Cordova, Tennessee. The groom is employed by JWS JWS Jackson-Weiss Syndrome
