The subject of machine guns seems to hold a perennial fascination for the young male. Undoubtedly it all has something to do with masculinity, self-identity, and the pleasing notion of unquestioned power. That being the case, it would seem constructive to guide that interest away from the realms of fantasy Realms of Fantasy is a bimonthly fantasy magazine.

It first appeared in 1994. Shawna McCarthy has been the editor since the magazine's inception.

It publishes fantasy-related fiction, nonfiction, and art.
 and into reading something of the real world and its history.

This title will be a big help. On the surface, it is the stories of seven individual US Marine privates and corporals who found themselves in command of machine gun squads in combat zones in three different wars: WW If, Korea, and Vietnam.
