Claritas Announces Third in Its Evolving Suite of eCommerce Sites.

Claritas Inc., the premier provider of intelligent marketing information and target marketing services, culminated its eCommerce Division's first, fast-paced year with the introduction of "MyBestLists," the third Web site in the MyBest... series launched within the last five months, the company announced today.

The sites, the other two being "MyBestProspects" and "MyBestCustomers," are a major component of the ClaritasExpress.com portal site, and in time will significantly contribute to establishing it as the leading portal within the market research industry, said Steven Egge, Claritas senior vice president of Business Development and Marketing.

"The development of this series of Web sites underscores our commitment to providing the most timely and highest quality data available, and we are even further committed to activating more sites as soon as possible," he said.

MyBestLists allows the user to easily obtain a comprehensive mailing or telemarketing list of targeted businesses based on designated specifications. "Clients and prospects can build their list online and receive in-depth selections based on the number employees, size of business, contact information, and more," said Egge.

He explained that data for the new site is sourced from Claritas' premiere database for business information called Business-Facts(R), of which some components are derived from infoUSA Inc.

"This robust database, with detailed information on more than 10 million U.S. businesses, encompasses all industries and markets, providing key details on establishments in any trade," Egge said.

Other MyBestLists features include:

-- A filter definition screen that allows the user to select criteria in order
to receive the best business list for analysis.

-- A count of the number of businesses that meet the user's criteria, allowing
for a list to be refined as necessary.

-- Selections by radius, polygon or standard geography.

-- A permanently displayed price to avoid being locked into a purchase until
the user is actually ready to pay.

Egge added that MyBestLists also offers more levels of standard geography. "Currently, the site supports County, State and Zip Code, but soon the selection will expand to MSA and Place."

Heather Oles, assistant vice president of the eCommerce Division, said the new site, along with the previous two, clearly demonstrates the versatility of the eCommerce architecture.

"The architecture has proven to be scaleable, extensible and flexible, allowing us to quickly and effectively design and build new products, while enhancing our existing ones; all of which goes to continuing the momentum built this year into 2001," she said.

In line with that, Oles said that four new sites in the series are expected to be launched in the coming year. They are: "MyBestMarkets," "MyBestData," "MyBestMedia" and "MyBestSegments."
