Claris Ships Claris Organizer 2.0 For Macintosh; Beta testers praise ease of use and efficiency.

It was sold to Palm when Claris was broken up, and was used as the basis for the Palm Desktop for Mac.  2.0, the all-in-one personal information manager for Macintosh and Power Macintosh See Power Mac.

The streamlined design of Claris Organizer 2.0 looks and works like no other personal organizer, with a simplified contact card that displays information much like a business card.

Instant Find, Instant Filters, and the new Instant Organizer menu provide instant access to contacts, appointments, tasks, and notes. Other new features, such as Decors, Memorizable Views, the Gripper, Birthday Minder, and field level file synchronization File synchronization (or 'synching') in computing is the process of making sure that two or more locations contain the same up-to-date files. If you add, change, or delete a file from one location, the synchronization process will add, change, or delete the same file at the other , combine to make Claris Organizer 2.0 a powerful contact manager.

For small businesses, staying organized is critical; that's why an easy-to-use solution like Claris Organizer 2.0 can quickly become indispensable. Sandi Dobrowolsky, owner and sole employee of Sandbox Software, makes web pages for clients. "I finally decided to get organized! And Claris Organizer 2.0 is perfect for me," she said.

"I've tried other organizer software products, such as Now Contact and Up-To-Date, but they just weren't flexible enough," he said. "This is not just a PIM (1) (Protocol Independent Multicast) A multicast routing protocol endorsed by the IETF.
