Clarification of release by InformationWeek on possible takeover of Apple Computer.


MANHASSET, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1995--InformationWeek, the newsweekly magazine for business and technology managers, wishes to clarify a press release issued January 5 in connection with a story in the January 16 issue of the magazine.

In a story entitled "Apple Takeover Discussed," it was reported that shareholders of Oracle Corp., "are to meet Jan. 6, and are expected to approve the issuance of 400 million new shares." It should have said, "shareholders are expected to vote to increase the number of authorized shares Authorized shares

 of the company by 400 million." InformationWeek has no information that Oracle plans to exercise this authority at this time.
