Markets, Technologies and Products

Pigments: Clariant is a recognized leader in offering quality pigments and dyes at a competitive price, and we offer an unmatched product portfolio for the printing inks industry. For years our customers have come to know and trust the products that we provide. We supply organic pigments, pigment preparations, dyes, and waxes for the manufacture of printing inks. Our unmatched capabilities have also made us a leading global supplier of dyes, pigments and pigment preparations for water- and solvent-based ink jet systems, as well as pigments, waxes, and charge control agents for electrophotographic toners.

Additives: Clariant supplies PE, Montan, and PTFE waxes for printing inks. Our waxes are used to improve rub and scratch resistance as well as reduce spraying and misting on the press. Our Ceridust[R] micronized waxes offer an environmentally friendly solution for the printing ink manufacturer. We also offer optical brighteners for use in security inks or for identification purposes. Specifically designed waxes for toner applications enhance our product portfolio.
