ClariFI Names Brad Winney President and CEO.

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- ClariFI, a leading provider of quantitative research and risk management solutions, announced today the promotion of Brad Winney to the position of President and CEO of the company. Winney was serving as the acting VP of Business Development and Sales before taking the helm of the company.

Mr. Winney most recently served as CEO of Electrifier, a broadband media provider where he positioned the company as a sector leader, winning several industry awards including Upside Top 100 and Demo 2000 Company to Watch. Prior to Electrifier, Mr. Winney served as SVP of Business Development for Personify Inc., an ecommerce business intelligence vendor. He also held various senior management positions with leading software and systems integration companies focused on the Financial Serves sector including Modem Media/Poppe Tyson (NASDQ:MMPT), USConnect and Novell (NASDQ:NOVL). Mr. Winney is also the co-Founder of Threshold Partners, a nationwide business development consultancy.

According to Mr. Winney, the company has raised approximately $6.2 million in equity to date from individual investors and is currently seeking a $3 million round of venture funding.
