Clarett tops out in Chelsea.


Construction at Chelsea House, a 64-unit luxury condominium project developed The Clarett Group, was topped out last week.

Located at 130 W. 19th St., Chelsea House is slated for occupancy by the summer of 2006. The luxury project was designed by award-winning architect Randy Gerner, of GKV GKV Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung (German: statutory health insurance)  Architects.

The 14-story property features a facade of clear and fritted glass, exposed concrete and stylized styl·ize

 one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, flexible floor plans with living areas that can easily be converted to additional bedrooms or dens. Among the 64 condominiums are five duplex townhouses with private patios and four penthouse units.

Amenities at Chelsea House include a landscaped roof deck featuring an elevated grass lawn for lounging, a fireplace and cabanas. The building also offers a screening room, state-of-the art fitness center and individual resident storage.

Chelsea House is the third successful collaboration of GKV and The Clarett Group.

The design and development team is also responsible for 2770 Broadway, a 22-story luxury condominium on Manhattan's Upper West Side, and the award-winning Luminaria lu·mi·nar·i·a
