Clarence F. Letendre Jr.MARLBOROUGH Clarence F. Letendre, Jr., of Marlborough died Friday, July 17, 2009, his 83rd birthday, at Bolton Manor. He was the husband of Lorraine A. (Gonyea) Letendre. His first wife, Phyllis L. (Durand) Letendre, died in 1969. He was born, raised, and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Clarence F. and Ruth (Temple) Letendre, Sr., and was a groundskeeper for the Metropolitan District Commission for 21 years, retiring in 1988. Previously, he was a shoemaker at Frye Boot for many years. Clarence was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Asia Pacific Theatre. He enjoyed painting and was a big Red Sox fan. He was a member of the VFW See Video for Windows. Post 638 in Marlborough and a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Dawn M. Kallberg of Gardner; three granddaughters, Monica, Caitlyn and Lindsey Kallberg, all of Gardner; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Guadagnoli of Florida. The funeral will be held Monday, July 20, at 11 a.m., at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 52 Church Street, Marlborough. Burial burial, disposal of a corpse in a grave or tomb.
