Claraview Selected to Support Law Library of Congress.

RESTON, Va. -- Claraview, Inc., a strategy and technology consultancy specializing in business intelligence, today announced that it has been selected to support the Global Legal Information Network (GLIN) program on behalf of the Law Library of Congress (LLOC). Claraview was selected in partnership with ATS Corporation (ATSC), who was awarded the five-year contract with an estimated total value of $14 million. ATSC will serve as the prime contractor on this contract.

Claraview has played an integral role on the GLIN project since April 2004. In that period, Claraview designed and implemented the GLIN.gov platform, which houses nearly 150,000 laws and supplementary legal material from 47 nations and multi-national jurisdictions. GLIN.gov is accessible in 13 languages and viewed by users in over 100 countries around the world. Since January 2007, traffic has increased by 70%, providing an ever-expanding community of researchers, legislators and citizens with current, authoritative legal material.

Under the newly awarded contract, Claraview will provide system architecture and development expertise to ensure the capacity and reliability of GLIN continues to grow in line with its success. This will include adding support for additional languages and a ten-fold increase in storage capacity in the first contract year.
