Physicians and Staff to Send and Receive Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Information via a 'Clinical Network'; Rapidly Connecting Legacy Systems and Providing Clinical Interoperability

Clara Maass is part of The Saint Barnabas Health Care System, which is New Jersey's largest integrated health care delivery system.

Clinicians will electronically receive clinical information directly into their tool of choice - an EMR, Axolotl's EMR Lite with ePrescribing and ordering, or via fax, for paper based charting. Using the Elysium Clinical Network, clinicians will be able to communicate with disparate EMRs, sharing referrals and other patient data instantly - speeding the process of care for the patient. Axolotl's Elysium Virtual Health Record (VHR) will provide a comprehensive view of the patient, allowing authorized physicians the ability to electronically locate, connect to, and review a holistic patient chart that is physically scattered across multiple health care systems.
