Clara M. Ambrus, MD, PhD Named to the Aethlon Medical Board.

Aethlon Medical Inc., (formally known as Bishop Equities Inc.) (OTCBB:BSEQ) confirmed today that Clara M. Ambrus, MD PhD has been nominated to the company's Board of Directors.

Dr. Ambrus is the founder of Hemex Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aethlon Medical. She currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of both Aethlon Medical and Hemex, where she is also Director of Research and Development. Dr. Ambrus is the inventor of the Hemopurifier line of blood purification products.

A research physician with expertise in hematology, pharmacology, thrombosis-hemorrhage, respiratory distress syndromes and immobilized enzymes, Dr. Ambrus also holds the posts of Research Professor of Pharmacology at the SUNY at Buffalo, and Research Professor of Pediatrics and of Obstetrics/Gynecology at the SUNY School of Medicine. She has over 200 scientific publications to her credit, and is a Field Reader for the FDA Orphan Products Development Grant Program. Dr. Ambrus received her medical degree from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and her PhD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
