Claire R. (Salvio) Laffin, November 10, 1922 - July 24, 2007.


WORCESTER Claire R. (Savio) Laffin formerly of Methuen, MA passed away on July 24 after a long illness.

Claire leaves her son, Charles Laffin and daughter-in-law Fran Laffin of Worcester; daughter, Alice Farrell and son-in-law John Farrell For other uses, see John Farrell (disambiguation).

. Claire married her husband in 1942. They spent most of their lives in the Lawrence and Methuen area raising their family and later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida St. Petersburg (often shortened to St. Pete) is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The city is known as a vacation destination for North American and European vacationers, as well as a politically important battleground in U.S. Presidential politics. . Claire worked for Raytheon in Andover, MA for 30 years. Claire loved to read, travel, and go to the beach. She moved back to Worcester in 2002. She was a member of St. Georges church and was a devout catholic.

Claire battled Alzheimers disease for the past 5 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, Watertown, MA. www.alzmass.org

The funeral will be held on Monday July 30 from Caswell King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St., Worcester. Calling hours will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m at the funeral home followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m at St. Georges Church, 40 Brattle brat·tle   Scots
