Claim Jumper Restaurants to Host Tips 4 Grads -- an Evening to Benefit Saguaro High School.

Teachers, coaches, administrators and parent volunteers from Saguaro High School will help make the evening special as the Claim Jumper Restaurant in Scottsdale hosts Tips 4 Grads, a special event to benefit Project Graduation and the Saguaro High School Class of 2004. Project Graduation, held immediately following commencement ceremonies on May 24, is an all-night "safe and sober" celebration for graduating seniors. The location of the event is always kept a secret until the students arrive by bus at the venue.

Tips 4 Grads is a new event for the Scottsdale restaurant. The evening is designed to raise awareness about Project Graduation and the importance the program plays in the community and the lives of the students. Volunteers have been invited to work alongside members of the Claim Jumper staff in a variety of duties including greeting and seating guests, serving beverages and meals, and busing tables. During the evening guests will have an opportunity to make a donation or tip on behalf of Saguaro High School and Project Graduation.

The Claim Jumper Restaurant, located at 7000 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, will host Tips 4 Grads from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 15, 2004. The support from the staff at Saguaro High School will be evident with 12-15 volunteers working in the lobby, dining room and saloon. Parents of graduating seniors will also be in attendance to answer any questions guests may have.
