New name and network reflect unique mission, vision

A new breed of communications provider, Rivien delivers integrated Internet, voice and Web communications services to small and medium businesses over a next-generation broadband network. Joshi announced Rivien's formal name change from Cl@rity Communications, founded in January 1999, at the CompTel Fall Business Meeting and Trade Exposition here where he is moderating a panel, "Defining Your Market: What Niche are you Serving?," that focuses on market changes affecting today's CLECs, ISPs, and DLECs. Rivien today also announced that it is building a multi-million-dollar national broadband OC-48 IP network, complete with Tier 1 Internet access See how to access the Internet.  (including peering and transit). Once fully deployed, Rivien's network will link 80 percent of the U.S. population.
