Civil society components voice support to Head of State.


Several structures and organisations of civil society hailed contents of the speech President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali General Zine El Abidine Ben Ali (زين العابدين بن علي; born in Hammam-Sousse on September 3, 1936) is the President of the Tunisian Republic since 7 November, 1987 and only the second one  delivered at the opening of the campaign for the presidential and legislative elections, the vanguard projects of his electoral programme which respond to the Tunisian people's aspirations, in all field and sectors.<p>In messages sent to the Head of State, these structures and organisations voiced pride at the achievements and gains accomplished in Tunisia which earned the Tunisian development approach to be a model and enhanced the country's position among the group of emerging countries.

These associations reiterate their adherence to President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali's choices and orientations, as well as their determination to strive every nerve to implement the ambitious targets of the new presidential programme.

These associative structures assert, on behalf of their members and affiliates, commitment to contribute actively to crown with success the forthcoming political stages, at the forefront of which the presidential and legislative elections of next October 25, to point up the level of development and political life Tunisia reached, notably in matters of pluralistic democratic edification ed·i·fi·ca·tion
