Civil Service Employees Insurance Group Promotes David Brinker to Executive Vice President, Products & Support.

Existing Responsibilities Expanded to Include Business Development and Marketing

SAN FRANCISCO -- Civil Service Employees Insurance Group (CSE Insurance), a leader in providing civil service employees with quality protection at affordable rates, today announced the promotion of David Brinker to Executive Vice President, Products & Support from Senior Vice President, Products & Support.

For the past six years, Mr. Brinker has led all functions related to CSE Insurance's product development and management, as well as all departments supporting the operations of the company. With this promotion, he further expands his responsibilities to also include all business development and marketing for the company.

Mr. Brinker joined CSE Insurance as Senior Vice President, IT & CIO in 1998. He was named Senior Vice President, Products & Support in 2002.

Prior to CSE, Mr. Brinker worked as Director and Vice President with Delphi Information Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for developing multiple products for independent property and casualty insurance agencies. He also represented Delphi on ACORD's AL3 advisory board and on the board of directors of the Alliance for Productive Technology (APT), an industry consortium to develop insurance industry EDI products.

Mr. Brinker also worked at Insurnet, Inc. before the company was purchased by Delphi. He joined Insurnet as a programmer/analyst, and also held various Director and Vice President positions during his 12 years there.

Mr. Brinker holds a BS degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Arizona.
