Civil Aviation Audit Skills Workshop in Dubai.


Dubai has hosted the region's first workshop of its kind about Civil Aviation Audit Skills, organized by the British Civil Aviation Authority Civil Aviation Authority civil (Brit) nBehörde f für Zivilluftfahrt  (CAA-UK), represented by the German TUV Middle East Co., which has its regional offices in Abu Dhabi."The five day workshop was attended by employees from various UAE airports, under the supervision of Marks Lechterman, TUV's Deputy Chairman, Chibo Davies, TUV's General Manager and Chandra Suvama, Director of TUV Academy in the Middle East," said Walid Atef, TUV's Marketing and Development In-Charge. He added that the workshop proved to be highly successful and attracted a lot of interest from governmental civil aviation authorities and that more workshops on different topics will be conducted in the near future. The workshop aimed at identifying auditing techniques for organizational and accounting purposes and enabling participants to plan and conduct a waide range of auditing functions to ensure compliance with the CAA-UK's regulations and codes and improve the skills of participants in this field. , to conduct all the CAA's training courses and workshops in this region," added Mr. Atef. He said that TUV is providing industrial support services through accrediting designs, auditing as a third party, monitoring service providers, the inspection and accreditation of cranes and equipment, risk appraisal, quality control, failure analysis, recommendations and vehicle inspection. The company has issued more than 1000 certificates in the middle east in the fields of inspection, company follow-up in the region, as well as a wide range of training programs. "The future will witness many training courses organized by the company in the fields of oil & gas, inspection, electromechanical engineering, project management, marine management, petrochemicals, informatics, management and human resources," he said.
